Louisiana Summer Camps · Twin Lakes Campground
Every summer, kids and students from across Louisiana gather at Twin Lakes Campground for what many call a family reunion, complete with swimming, lots of fun, and life-changing encounters with God. What happens at camp changes the world!
Why camp matters
Summer camp is a safe place where kids and leaders can step away from the normal of life, have fun, build lasting friendships, and encounter God in ways that change everything.
From gaga ball and big team games to pool and lake fun, campers and leaders celebrate new and lasting friendships. But most importantly, the time together is marked by powerful worship, Gospel presentations, and time in the presence of God that leaves everyone changed.

NightThis year’s speakers
These are the speakers bringing the word at the Woodworth campground next summer.

National BGMC Director, Assemblies of God
Leads a movement shaping the next generation to live on mission now, not someday. With over two decades of ministry experience as a children’s pastor, NextGen director, and national leader, David has dedicated his life to discipling kids, students, pastors, and families to pray boldly, give generously, and go wherever God calls.

Michigan KidMin Director and Illustrator
Zach grew up with a passion for animating, making comics, and making his classmates laugh until he earned a seat by the teacher’s desk. When his pursuit of Jesus began, he jumped at the opportunity to teach kids about Jesus in a way that made sense to them, using cartoons, puppets, experiments, illusions, and whatever else he could get his hands on to lead kids into an encounter with a God who is absolutely obsessed with them. Today he and his wife are in transition to missions in Thailand with their four daughters.

Lead Pastors, Journey Church
After serving as children’s pastors for more than 15 years, Dan and Sara now lead Journey Church in Minot, North Dakota. During those years, they had the opportunity to speak at camps around the country, conduct children’s ministries overseas, and stay heavily involved in Junior Bible Quiz, National Kids Convention, and conferences. Their heart is to see young people experience Jesus in a real way and embrace the calling God has on their lives, all while having some fun along the way!

Kids Evangelists and KidMin Leaders
Chip and Debbie have served in ministry together for more than 30 years, with a passion for reaching kids and helping them grow closer to Jesus. They have served as kids pastors, evangelists, and as KidMin Network Director for the Southern Missouri Ministry Network, investing in kids, families, and the leaders who serve them. Creative, hands on, and intentional, they use their gifts to connect kids to the wonder and truth of the Gospel.
Youth Camp speakers for all three weeks will be announced soon.
Rates and dates
How it works
Camp week preferences are submitted September 7-30, 2026, and your week is confirmed by October 5. Group links go out January 11. Churches register as groups, and every camper and leader completes their info online by April 30.
Estimate your headcount for campers and leaders, then choose your preferred week of camp between September 7 and 30.
On October 5 you will receive confirmation for your week of camp.
Raise your church rate above the camp rate if you need to cover travel or leader costs, and collect a $50 non-refundable deposit per person, due by April 30.
You will receive your group link January 11. Send it to parents and leaders, and they fill in their info online by April 30.
Send in a church check or pay through Jotform (5% service fee) for your deposits, and fill in all camper and leader info by April 30. Unfilled spots release, and remaining balances come to camp with a church check.
Check-in happens in the cafeteria with camper activities running while you register. Please arrive at check-in time, not before.
Four wins of the simplified system
Leaders and junior leaders
Every church brings its own leaders, and camp keeps the standard high so parents can send their kids with confidence.
Leaders must be at least 20 years old or married. Exceptions are handled case by case.
Every adult 18 and over is checked against the National Sex Offender registry, criminal databases, and state records through Protect My Ministry. The cost is included in the rate.
Bring no more than one leader per seven campers per gender. If a camp runs out of beds, this ratio is enforced by gender.
Every leader watches a series of training videos before camp, and each group completes lice checks with verification sent in on day one.
Junior leaders serve at Kids Camps only, cost $160, and should be entering high school or older. They assist their church leaders at camp and stay with the campers except when serving in a job rotation. Register junior leaders through your group link, then complete the pastor recommendation form when it launches January 11.
Good questions
No. Underage children are not allowed to attend camp, and campers who are pregnant are not able to attend.
Leaders who are pregnant may apply if the pregnancy is not high-risk and they are under 20 weeks. Bring a written note from your physician stating you can attend and participate in daily camp activities, and turn it in to the office staff on arrival. No special housing is provided due to pregnancy.
Leaders and campers may not leave camp unless office staff approves it and the check-out process is completed.
No unregistered guests are allowed on the campground, with the exception of senior, kids, and youth pastors and their spouses. Those guests check in and out at the campground office.
All campers and leaders are assigned dorms on the basis of gender at birth. No exceptions are made to this guideline. Any camper or leader replacing another must be the same gender, from the same church, and going to the same camp.
Deposits are $50 per person, non-refundable, and due by April 30. Each deposit holds a spot and applies to that camper’s balance. Cancellations during camp week cannot be refunded, with case-by-case exceptions for unavoidable circumstances like a death in the family or a surgical procedure.
Each church processes its own forms online. The central office does not receive or process forms. Medication forms should never be mailed, bring those to camp only.
The church collects all balances and pays by church check by mail (mark Student or Kids Camp on the memo, P.O. Box 346, Woodworth, LA 71485), by church check on the day of camp, or through Jotform at a 5% service fee.
Yes. As camp coordinator you can change a person’s info and add or edit reserved spots with your manage-your-group password up to one week before camp, as long as space is available. For anything else, email aglasummercamp@gmail.com.
Camp coordinators receive automated reminder emails with a live registration report link. Check it often, and pay close attention to the gender and age of each camper and leader, since last-minute changes can affect rooming with your church.
Coordinators receive a confirmation two weeks before camp to verify payment info. Team colors release one week before camp, pre-ordered shirts arrive in your team color at check-in, and a limited number of extra shirts and merch are available at camp.
