New year, new you
Dear Pastor,
Happy New Year!
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
I know those verses are meant to be an everyday promise rather than a once-a-year reminder. In fact, the Bible really doesn’t have a verse designated specifically for a January 1st, “New Year” blessing. The Bible is full of promises devoted more to a NEW YOU than a NEW YEAR. My prayer is that God would refresh you, encourage you, strengthen you, energize you, and continually transform you into a NEW YOU, ready for the NEW YEAR.
A pre-meeting for senior pastors
I am excited for the upcoming Area Tour happening the last 2 weeks of January. We will be meeting together in a church near you for a time of worship, fellowship, and discussion. Prior to the meal and main meeting, I am inviting the Senior Pastors in your area to a time of special, pre-meeting discussion. I feel strongly about getting you together with other Senior Pastors in your area. I would love to see you there and hear from you.

- Jan. 19th North Central & North East Sections to be held at Evangel, Monroe
- Jan. 21st Leesville & Alexandria Sections to be held at Connect Church, Alexandria
- Jan. 22nd Winnfield & Four Rivers Sections to be held at First Assembly, Winnfield
- Jan. 25th Northlake & Baton Rouge Sections to be held at The Mission Church, Hammond
- Jan. 26th Nola & West Bank Sections to be held at Hosanna, Marrero (Westbank)
- Jan. 28th Raceland Section to be held at Crossing Place Church, Bayou Vista
- Jan. 29th Lake Charles & Lafayette Sections to be held at New Hope, Eunice
The meeting schedule
The Meeting Schedule will be:
- 4:00 – 5:00 Senior Pastors Gathering with Pastor Scott
- 5:00 – 5:30 Meal and Fellowship for All
- 5:30 – 8:00 Discussion Time with Elections Following
I am convinced our time together will be encouraging to all. I look forward to seeing you at 4:00pm with the other Lead Pastors in your area. We will have someone waiting in the Foyer of the church to direct you to our meeting room.
