Walking and working
Dear Louisiana Leader,
Happy New Year!
I recently heard a message around and Paul’s statement of “I wish.” The speaker brought out the thought that though Paul wished for one big impossibility, he brought it back down to the reality of what he could do. Since I heard that message, I have replayed the thought multiple times. How often do I get transfixed and sidetracked simply “wishing” to do what is impossible and thus failing to do what is possible? It was not a message to sideline my faith or keep me from dreaming big, but rather a to motivate a mindset of action. So many times, sitting and wishing replaces rising and doing. As we all start the New Year, I am praying your DREAMS are BIG, your Goals are GIANT, and your actions are calculated and systematic. May we know the difference between “walking and working” toward our Dream and “sitting and wishing” for the impossible.
Praying and planning
I know many of you lead your churches and ministries in times of concentrated prayer and fasting during January. Our Network Office Team is praying and believing with you for a year of GREAT IMPACT. Please send us specific needs, projects, and plans so we can be asking, agreeing, and declaring with you! May this year be the most amazing time of growth, expansion, and maturity in our personal lives and ministries!
We are praying AND planning for a supernatural 2023. Our calendar is full of great opportunities to gather, worship, learn and grow on specific dates throughout the year. We have terrific events crafted especially for men, for women, for students, for mission trips, for serving opportunities and those few ANNUAL gatherings for ALL of us to participate at once. We will have roundtables for discussion groups to help craft the future. We have teaching dates set aside to train the next generations of leaders. We are bringing back the Church Ministries Conference with a new name, renewed passion, and fresh vision to help you take your Ministry TEAM to the next level.
