For over three decades, Scott has poured his life into missions, church planting, pastoral ministry, and leadership development. Before this current role, Scott and his wife Kara, were senior pastors of Life Church in Shreveport, Louisiana from 2000 to 2014. Prior to pastoring in Louisiana, they served on the island of Ebeye in the Marshall Islands and in the city of Barnaul, Russia (Siberia). In addition to multiple degrees in science, missions and theology, Scott is completing his first doctorate degree from AGTS.
Eric was born in New Orleans and is a lifelong resident of Louisiana. He was born-again as a university student while studying theatre at Nicholls State University. After his conversion in 1982, he started the first Chi Alpha group at Nicholls. Since that time, he and his wife Anabelle, have served as a US Missionary specifically at Nicholls and the University of Louisiana in Lafayette. Eric oversees all of Chi Alpha in the South-Central Area (New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana).
Donnie has a wide range of experience, serving over twenty years in a variety of ministry roles and working in the construction industry for more than thirty years. He and his wife, Brandi, are currently lead Pastors of Celebration Worship Center in Sulphur. His mix of church ministry and construction experience have perfectly equipped him to serve as our Twin Lakes Campground Director. He is a vital part of revolutionizing our campground and continuing our campground mission: What happens here changes the world.
Charlie has a variety of experiences with family ministries. Prior to this role, Charlie served with Chi Alpha at the University of Louisiana under Eric and Anabelle Treuil. Charlie has served with Youth Alive for the Georgia District, been a high school teacher, and a youth pastor. Charlie has earned a M.DIV from Southwestern A/G University. His wife Candice is a Licensed Practical Counselor at a local elementary school and together, have three children: Nathan, Joseph and Emmaline.
Gary has always had a heart and compassion for missions and missionaries. For over 50 years he has raised millions of dollars to move the cause forward, so others might know Jesus. Before his present role, Gary and his wife Dee were Louisiana State Youth Directors for 22 years and raised over 7 million dollars to help equip our Louisiana missionaries. Gary's heart is for missionaries to be equipped with all they need to spread the gospel.
Sullivan was a campus missionary with Chi Alpha at McNeese State University for ten years prior to joining Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles as Administrative Pastor. Sullivan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nicholls State University and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from McNeese State University. He is currently pursuing his Master of Art Degree in Bible and Theology from Southwestern Assembly of God University. Sullivan and his wife Shonda have been married for 17 years and have 3 sons and one daughter.
Kara has traveled the world and served in ministry on several continents. Her calling has been a long-time career as an RN working in hospital health care as well has a global missionary, worship leader, mentor, speaker, mother and pastor’s wife. Kara’s connection to life through nursing keeps her message and ministry real and authentic. Kara’s passion is investing into the lives of ladies as they maneuver and grow through the opportunities and challenges of life.
G. R. and Linda are experienced pastors of our District. They were mentored by and served with some of our District’s most powerful leaders. Presently, they are in their 25th year as lead pastors over a thriving church. They have been fully engaged in different levels of leadership and ministry at the Section and District level. G.R. has a B.A. in Theology and has previously served for well over a decade in the U.S. military.
For over 25 years, Alton has faithfully served the Louisiana Royal Ranger Adventure Academy. His passion for mentoring boys and training men began in his local church’s Royal Ranger ministry in Pearl River, Louisiana. Since then, he has trained men to become servant leaders throughout the United States, Ghana, and Nigeria. Alton was ordained as an Assemblies of God minister in 2005 and continues to invest in his personal growth as a leader.
